Wondering if you can grow weed in your closet?
Of course you can! That’s exactly how our ancestors did it back in the 60’s. How do we know this? Cave drawings, mostly. Also my dad told me.
But let’s get serious for a minute. The process of growing cannabis in your closest is slightly more complicated than just sticking a weed plant behind that pile of underwear with too many holes to keep wearing yet you refuse to throw them away for some reason (or maybe that’s just me?).
Cannabis plants need access to abundant lighting and adequate ventilation, regardless of where they grow. If you’re setting up shop in your closet, you’ll need to take this into consideration. Air must flow in and out to avoid mold problems and temperature spikes.
And don’t forget about the smell! Cannabis gets quite stinky during flowering, so odor control is a must. Unless you just like to bask in the dank of it all.
If you want to give your plants all they’ll need to grow big and strong and sticky and icky in the comfort of your closet, probably the best solution to pick up a grow tent that can accommodate your needs in one neat package. Just make sure you have enough power outlets for ventilation and lighting!
And you’ll need a seed of course. Here’s some information on getting cannabis seeds. You can also check out the selection of cannabis seeds for growing indoors over at Seedsman.
As always, before you do any growing you’ll want to check the laws, rules and regulations in your state, city and county. And keep in mind that federal laws still don’t officially allow any growing at all.
